Head Coach: Mikael Forsgren

Mikael Forsgren is a 2nd Degree BJJ Black Belt and the Head Coach at Draco Fight Camp, bringing over 20 years of elite combat sports expertise to the Hua Hin community. Originally from Sweden, Mikael has established a premier training environment in Nong Kae that prioritizes high-level technical mechanics and natural human behavior over rigid traditional formalities. Specializing in a multidisciplinary system that integrates Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, and Filipino Martial Arts, he provides a clear roadmap for practitioners of all levels—from absolute beginners to those aspiring to join the future Draco Competition Team.

Do I need previous experience to join Draco Fight Camp?

No. Most of our students in Hua Hin start with zero previous experience. Our programs are designed so that any new student can start at any time without feeling confused or overwhelmed. We focus on the foundations of BJJ, MMA, and self-defense in a safe, structured environment.

Do I need to be in shape before I start training?

You definitely don't need to be in shape to start; you train to get in shape. Thinking you need to be fit to join a martial arts gym is like thinking you need to be fit to go to the gym. We adjust the training to suit your individual goals and physical possibilities.

Is the Juniors program safe for my child?

Absolutely. Our Juniors program for ages 7–14 focuses on discipline, coordination, and playful games. We maintain an ego-free environment where safety is the priority. It’s a great way for kids in the Nong Kae area to build confidence while staying active.

Can I just drop in for a single class or a week?

Yes. We welcome visitors and residents alike. We offer 500 THB Day Passes for drop-ins, as well as weekly and monthly rates. Whether you are a long-term Hua Hin resident or just passing through, you can find a training schedule that fits your stay.
